Founded in 1959 in Madrid, Iowa, Continental Manufacturing Chemist (CMC) has established a strong legacy in the contract manufacturing industry. Our original facility continues to thrive, having undergone numerous enhancements to meet evolving customer demands. In 2018, we strategically expanded to neighboring Huxley, unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation to meet customer needs, and increasing our team to over 150 employees from across Central Iowa. 

As a leader in the personal care and animal care sectors, CMC is committed to redefining contract manufacturing through our commitment to communication, quality, and value. Our prime location along the Interstate 35 corridor, near research hubs like Iowa State University, fosters collaboration and enhances our ability to meet ever changing market demands.
